To Operate the elevators:
Elevator for Merkel: "K" going to the dining table;"L" going up
Elevator for Kerr: "U" going to the catway; "O" going to the dining table; "P" going up

EXP3: Final Model

Landscape:
The inspiration of the landscape basically derives from rainbow valley,
which is well known for its scenic sandstone bluffs and cliffs. The deserted and despairing appearance of the environment sets the vigorous bridge off, thereby enhancing the power of this bridge.

The Fusion With Environment:
It links up the valley and extends the sky lines as it it is part of the valley.

Merkel's Office:
Merkel's office consists of several thin geometric solids and it ends up by higher solids which are transparent in all directions (refer to the SketchUp model). Since Merkel is a great pragmatic politician who needs comprehensive insight and the capacity to compromise different forces, this simple form may demonstrate her such a strong power.

Kerr's Office:
Her office is comprised of two independent spaces in different level and a separate catwalk. Based on her model background and amiable personality, rectangle prisms with smooth corner are used, which represent her graceful body and easy going. These spaces are guided by the parallelly linear roof windows, she, therefore, can experience the catwalk feeling even just in her office. Furthermore, the outdoor nature sight from impending catwalk may provide her a fancy experience of performance.

Dining Table:
The dining table not only responds to the form of the bridge, but, which is more important, suggests a significant movement inspired by the two clients. One side starts from single and small elements and moves to a united shape, whcih stands for Merkel's power to "steer Germany through some difficult times"; while the opposite side implies Kerr's power to maintain every single part of her body and show her best side to the public.

Merkel's Elevator:
The location of this elevator appears like the joint and axis of this bridge. It handles the shift of Merkel's office. Just like the way that Merkel lead Germany. Again, the window is opening to the grand panoramas which allow Merkel to experience the changing perspectives when she rides the elevator.

Kerr's Elevator:
Kerr's elevator is an element of her second level officea and it was applied same texture and color as her office to highlight Kerr's fashion, vitality and health. It connects the office and the catwalk.

EXP3: MashUp

Her life thereafter, as a pragmatic politician who inspires confidence, is expected to be in top physical shape 24/7. In time, Miss Keller learned to circumvent her blindness, deafness and muteness, because German voters want a serious leader whom they can trust and Merkel knows what she's doing.

Victoria’s Secret want lean, fit, tight models and she is known more for her pragmatism and ability to compromise. Helen Keller’s getting a lot of praise from the art director and everyone there and she energized movements that revolutionized help for the blind and the deaf.

Over the past four years she becomes a symbol of the indomitable human spirit and has had to steer Germany through some difficult times. Her remarkable mind unfolded, therefore, she broke the leadership mould of the Christian Democrats, traditionally dominated by Catholic west German men. No similarly afflicted person before had done more than acquire the simplest skills.

What set Miranda apart was that she couldn’t wait to walk the runway and show the world that being lean, toned and fit is something you can be, a full and happy participant in life, without having to be skinny and anorexic. She has certainly impressed Germans because of her healthy body and a vigorous life.

Explaination for EXP2

I misunderstood the definition of 9 rectangle prisms, as a result of which I didn't take those in platforms, ramps and the auxiliary spaces into calculation.

The form, which applied contrastive proportion and scale of the rectangle prisms, of Darwin's lab (located at the right hand) comes from his diea "strongest live and the weakest die". While the design of Hawking's lab (located at the left hand) was inspired by his theory of "no boundary" in the universe. Some exoteric spaces are extended from the rectangle prisms, which break and expand its spacial characteristics. Finally, the small cube between their labs is their meeting place.

The meeting place is not only a conjunction of two laboratories, but a transition of different forms. The conscious attempt here is to create some vertical windows that protrude the small cube, thereby extending the boundary of the space.

EXP1: 3 Animations of Developed Model

Animation 1:
This animation captures the holistic perspective of the model, which allow us to experience the dramatic form of this model from distinctive angles.

Animation 2:
The second animation demonstrates the interrelation between above ground space (Piccinini's workshop), on groud space (shared gallery) and below ground space (Goodwin's workshop). It explains how the two workshop studios connect with the gallery and where those custom textures are applied.

Animation 3:
The sectional animation provides a fancy view to experience the transformation of the interior space. In the meantime, we can get an opportunity to communicate with the lights and shadows.
